Do you want to contact our customer service via the telephone? From now on you can do so on the new direct number +32 (0)9 330 10 13. Customers can use this number to gain more information about offers, sample collection, requested analyses, interpretation of analysis results, … without first passing the general reception.

Primoris … for a better world: Enter your proposal before 23 September!
Our project "Primoris ... for a better world" returns for a second edition after last year’s success, as Primoris wants to keep giving back to society with support of its customers and employees. Specifically, Primoris will donate € 10.000 to two charities or projects, one of which will be suggested by customers and another by employees. You can still enter your project until 23rd September.

In the spotlight: role of mycotoxins in terms of food safety
When you think of Primoris, you think of specialised accredited analyses of plant protection products, but also of mycotoxins and other contaminants. Indeed, mycotoxins (like ergot alkaloids) are increasingly appearing in the spotlight and are included more frequently in legislation. This is not at all surprising, since the presence of mycotoxins in food can be a treat to food safety.

EU report 2017 regarding pesticide residues in food
In July, the European Food Safety Authority has published "The 2017 European Union report on pesticide residues in food". This report provides an overview of the 2017 official control activities on pesticide residues carried out in the European Union (EU) Member States, Iceland and Norway.

Exclusive for Primoris Colombia
Primoris Colombia now has, as the first laboratory in Colombia, a special permit to import samples of fresh fruit, vegetables, etc. into Colombia. This permit is granted by ICA (el Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario), the official Colombian institute for agriculture.

Ciboris: new training regarding food safety culture on 10 September!
Ciboris organises some interesting trainings this autumn for persons in charge of quality and purchase in the agri-food sector. They now have an all-new training on food safety culture (the humane dimension in food safety management).  Nowadays, food safety culture is being incorporated more and more in requirements of different quality standards like BRC and ISO.  For more information and registration, you can go to www.ciboris.org.

Quality: proficiency tests July – August
Proficiency tests are part of Primoris’ everyday operation. These are independent tests that try to verify the analysis quality of a laboratory. Further, their results are used to evaluate the performance of the analysis methods and, if necessary, adjust them.

Primoris Belgium is only closed on official Belgian holidays:
  • Friday 1 November 2019 – All Saints’ Day
  • Monday 11 November 2019 – Armistice Day
