Renewal and expansion BELAC accreditation

In May of this year, BELAC accepted our accreditation expansions and prolonged the accreditation for a period of 5 years.

As a result:

  • A new accredited method (PAH_01_A) for the determination of PAH’s on meat, herbs, cocoa, oil-containing seeds and vegetable oils is implemented and will be offered from 15/06/2016 on.
  • The determination of ethephon (ETH_01_A) is expanded to ‘plantlike commodities’.
  • The determination of perchlorate (PER_01_A) is expanded with analysis on ‘fertilizers’. The method will be offered from 15/06/2016 on.

Primoris is multisite accredited by BELAC for the analysis of pesticides and contaminants in food and feed, and received the certificate 057-TEST with the following accreditation scope. The following laboratories are accredited: Primoris Belgium, Primoris Bulgaria and Primoris Colombia.

With these efforts, Primoris underlines again the focus on providing quality assurance and analysis reliability to our customers.

Background info BELAC accreditation

Routine laboratories must meet the minimum quality requirements that are described in the EN-ISO17025 standard ‘General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’. In Belgium, this accreditation is granted by BELAC.
